Our story starts in retail. Mark Hegelau and Michi Brandl founded the company ‘The Wants Shoes’ in 2014. With the store opening in Cologne on Lindenstraße in 2015, we organised the first influencer event - at a time when influencers were still called bloggers and had a reach of 10k.
