Our Commitment to Hands & Feet NPC
At THE WANTS SOCIAL, we are passionate about making a positive impact beyond our industry. During our first Pop-up Office in Cape Town in 2024, we had the privilege of connecting with Hands & Feet NPC, an organization dedicated to empowering families and restoring communities.
Following our initial fundraising initiative in 2024, we had the opportunity to visit Hands & Feet in 2025 and witness their invaluable work firsthand. Their Hope Centre serves as a vital resource hub, offering child care and protection, family support, victim empowerment and programs for sustainable livelihoods, substance abuse recovery and crime prevention.
With a trauma-informed and holistic approach, Hands & Feet empowers children and families through family strengthening initiatives, occupational therapy and parenting education. Their programs also include afterschool activities, job preparation workshops and support for those in recovery, ensuring families have the resources they need to build a stable and hopeful future.
We are honored to support Hands & Feet NPC and contribute to their mission of creating loving, stable and self-sustaining family environments. By working together, we can help build a brighter future for families in Cape Town. Join us in making a difference!

Our Commitment to MAP Straßennasen
Supporting meaningful causes has always been close to our hearts at THE WANTS SOCIAL. Founders Michi & Mark have been dedicated to helping the non-profit organization MAP Straßennasen for years. Their passion for animal welfare led them to adopt two dogs from the organization and to continuously raise awareness and funds through special events and initiatives at THE WANTS SHOES and THE WANTS SOCIAL.
MAP Straßennasen is dedicated to helping Romanian street dogs, providing shelter, medical care and sustainable solutions such as spay and neuter programs to control the stray population humanely. With an estimated 600,000 dogs living on the streets and millions more suffering in harsh conditions, the organization plays a crucial role in improving their lives.
Michi & Mark have not only supported MAP through donations but have also been on-site multiple times, offering hands-on help to the incredible team led by Magda Radu in Giurgiu. Their efforts contribute directly to MAP’s mobile veterinary clinic, which has been a game-changer in providing medical aid and facilitating crucial sterilization projects.
